Websites and landing pages · Australia-wide

Make it easy to understand the service and take the next step.

I plan, write, design and build websites for Australian service businesses. Every important page has a clear job: explain the service, answer the buying questions, show real proof and make the call or enquiry path obvious.

01 / DIAGNOSE

A clean website can still make the customer work too hard.

The common problems are structural: several services share one vague page, proof is detached from the claim or the mobile action disappears when the customer is ready.

01

The homepage tries to rank for everything.

One page cannot properly own every service decision. I separate the genuine offers and give each important page a clear purpose and internal path.

02

The copy describes the business, not the customer's decision.

Customers need scope, area, timing, proof and a next step. I write those answers before adding decorative sections.

03

The proof is too vague to trust.

Logos and claims without context do little work. I place verified results, real images or labelled process evidence beside the promise they support.

04

The form is the only conversion plan.

Some customers call, some text and some need to read more first. I make those paths visible and track them without calling every click a lead.

02 / BUILD

I build the page system and the conversion path together.

The design follows the commercial hierarchy. Search ownership, copy, proof, mobile actions and measurement are decided as one system.

01 / WORK

Information architecture

Map services, service groups, guides and proof so every important page has a reason to exist and a crawlable internal path.

02 / WORK

Copy and proof

Write direct service answers, define proof sources and use labelled demonstrations when client evidence is not available.

03 / WORK

Responsive design and build

Build the single-column mobile reading path first, then add the wider editorial grid, useful interaction and accessible states.

04 / WORK

Tracking and launch

Connect calls, texts, forms and diagnostic actions, verify metadata and schema, then test the live conversion path after deployment.

03 / PROCESS

Structure first, then copy, design and release.

01 / STEP

Audit the current path

I check what already ranks, what converts, which pages overlap and which assets the business actually owns.

02 / STEP

Assign page jobs

Each service, guide and proof object gets a defined audience, intent and next action before the layout begins.

03 / STEP

Build the working page

I combine copy, real evidence, responsive design and accessible components in the same implementation.

04 / STEP

Verify the live route

I test the build, metadata, schema, mobile widths, forms and custom-domain response before calling the page finished.

04 / PROOF

The page should explain its own working logic.

I use a page decision sheet to record the intended search, customer question, proof source, primary action and measurement event. It keeps a good-looking page from losing its commercial job during revisions.

05 / FIT

Check the fit before committing.

Good fit

  • The business has clear services and service areas
  • A real person can supply operational detail
  • The business owns or can create credible proof
  • Calls and forms can be reviewed after launch

Fix this first

  • The service list is still changing
  • Nobody can approve factual copy
  • The project depends on invented testimonials or dashboards
  • The business will not own its domain or core accounts

07 / QUESTIONS

Websites questions.

Do you build complete websites or landing pages?
Both. A complete site is useful when the business needs clear service ownership, search visibility and trust across several decisions. A focused landing page may be enough for one paid campaign. I recommend the smaller honest scope when it can do the job.
Can you improve my existing website?
Yes. I can inspect the current structure, mobile experience, service pages, proof, forms and tracking before recommending a rebuild. If the useful parts can be repaired, I keep them.
Will the website be built for SEO?
I build the technical and structural foundations that SEO needs: crawlable pages, useful service ownership, clear headings, internal links, metadata and structured data where it is truthful. Rankings still depend on competition, content, authority and time.
Who owns the website and accounts?
The business should own its domain, core accounts and website data. I need the access required to build and manage the work, but I do not use ownership as a way to hold the site hostage.
Can you build websites for businesses outside Melbourne?
Yes. Website planning, copy, design, development and reporting are available across Australia. Melbourne clients can also use on-site photography and video. National clients can supply assets or use a remote capture brief.

08 / NEXT MOVE

Show me the page that should be producing more calls.

I will check the service promise, proof, mobile action and measurement path before recommending a redesign or rebuild.
